I can't seem to delete the 2GB partition either

there is no options for the 12gb it is all greyed out

any suggestions?

Can you not merge the partitions in anyway ?

If not can you not format the drive and then do it again.

Try extending volume L: to the maximum you can, the space is there it has just not been allocated to a partition.

arghh i could use gparted but i dont have linux nemore
plus i cant even begin to remember how to delete a partition using fdisk

i can format in windows cmd

d:/
format

but it'll still only show 2gb
i think i need som1 with linux installed this is annoyin

gparted on a cd is the way to go here.

It's been known for flash memory to be mis-sold, claiming to have a higher capacity than it actually does. I've also had flash memory go faulty in such a way that the available capacity decreased over time.

I was missold flash, and the way to test it is with h2test4_1.4 works for any writeable media, HDD and flash, works by writing data to the disk and verifying. Used it to prove a 16Gb drive was in fact about 800Mb. Got my money back but won't buy large capacity flash there anymore.
