Help 3DS Problem

Ive just brought a new 3ds it says it has super mario bros 2 special edition pre installed so i turn it on and its not there so i go in to the e shop and i cant even find super mario bros 2 on the shop :S what do i do

Is the 3DS new or preowned? Sorry new could mean two things as there is a model called the New 3DS.

If it was brand new it should be pre installed and on the desktop. By the way what firmware version is it on? If below 10.6 then you can do some pretty crazy stuff if you are feeling brave!
