Ok,just been sorting out my water cooling after I bought a panflo 120mm fan which I attached to my rad.
Here

the problem is stupidly I bought the fan with a 3 pin conector (2 wires) and now I can't 7volt it.I am running it off this at the moment

on the 5 volt side but it's not spinning the fan up as fast as I would like and hence the temps are actually higher than the fan it replaced :(
If I could find a way to get it to 7volt things might inprove.
Any ideas please?

Sorry but the link only takes you to home page, need to follow this to get there:
Home > Product > Controller & Connectors > ZM-MC1

Would that work as the Akasa 3-pin to 4-pin Adapter Cable (CB-007-GE) as sold on here only has two wires on the molex side,is that enough to be able to 7volt it?

what about this one?Akasa AK-CB423-ADPT 4 - 3pin adapter cable (CB-012-AK) Its got 4 wires on the molex side.
I've only ever read about 7volting but never tried it,so not bested place to talk about it
If all else fails theres alway this one:Akasa 3 Pin fan speed reduction cable (FG-006-GE) It brings it down to 10 volts,I'm assuming it has 3 pin at both ends as The picture doesn't show it all.

Cool ta,thanks for the link :)
So basically I need to get the wires from the fan onto the 1 and 4 pins of the molex to get a 7volt then.
