Help - ADSL Choice

Hi... A little confused here! Me, my brother and Dad all want to get ADSL, mother just needs convincing. SO we would want to connect three XP Pro PC's with a wireless network. Apparently we can only get upto 512kbps (Countryside), but dad wants either a fixed monthly charge or unlimited. Up to about £27 a month, I want to Multiplay with it and the others want it for browse d/l too.

I'm liking the BT option 3, I would think 30Gb would last a bit! Expensive though.

Any kind of help appreciated, hopefully switch from this 56k late next month! Cheers

If your Dad is prepared to pay £27, then have a look at Zen (http://www.zenadsl.co.uk/ADSL.aspx?page=169) for £25ish - they're the best ISP I've used.

You'll be able to get ADSL cheaper but I'd prefer to pay the extra and go for Zen.

What about plusnet. Have a few friends using them, and all seems fine.

Pricing wise they dont seem to bad at all. Also you might want to check out Nildram, i currently use them without any problems.

I wouldn't touch PlusNet with a bargepole. Nildram are pretty good though, just a shame their accounts department is full of complete and utter morons. I'd still recommend Zen though.

Its what I'm on, only thing is that theres £47 connection fee, however If you opt for the "i will stay 12+ months" then that is free

I've heard nothing but good things about Zen. Bit expensive for there 2mb service, but quality costs.
I'm with plusnet, and I want to leave so bad. They are awful

Dont touch them mate, im trying to get out of them as they are trafficing bandwidth wayyy too much. Their premier package is limited to 20GB peak time, and their plus service is limited to 5GB at peak times, which is expensive for what they provide.

Honestly, dont bother with plusnet.

agreed. im on zen 2 meg. Excellent service no problems at all.
