UPDATE

Idea was to send the faulty ram stick back to ocz, in order to do this i had to purchase some new so at least the pc would work while it was away getting rma'd.

I purchased this memory
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-203-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517

Fitted it this morning and the same problem as before has started happening.
Tried the 2 new modules in A1 and A2 and then in B1 and B2- no joy.
Then tried 1 module in all 4 slots- no joy in any.
Tried 2nd module in all 4 slots- no joy in any either.

So now im thinking, either the ram i have bought isnt compataible? Although my mobo manual does state that it can take 1333mhz/16000(O.C)mhz/ 1800 (O.C)mhz/1866(O.C)mhz, or the problem lies with my motherboard?

However i put the 'working' module of OCZ 1333mhz memory back into the motherboard slot and it boots up straight away?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Do i need to change any settings for it to work with this 1600mhz ram?

Is the '(O.C)' listed next to 1600mhz important?

As it just states 1333mhz in the manual but for the rest its 1600mhz (O.C) 1800mhz (O.C) etc?
