Help! asIO.sys failure comp cant boot

so old mobo dead, new bits and tyring desperately not to loose the windows drive. windows attempts to boot but blue screens and reports asIO.sys as the cause. is there anything i can do to repair things???

i tried windows repairing itself and that failed, a system resore point and that failed. i fear doing the reset this pc option will erase stuff i dont want to loose, help, please!!

erm yes that tells me what it is but unless ive missed soemthing, not how to fix it?

Make a boot disk and rename or delete that file.

hmmm so a live usb stick of ubuntu wont load, no errors just not working, should i be getting worried?
