Help Battle.net Accounts.

Right, The story so far....

I have created a Battle.net account as Blizzard said I have to if I want to log into WOW. Now I cant seem to merge my WOW account with my Battle.net account, the reason being it says the user name/password is invalid. Now I know for a FACT that they are not...

Getting straight to the point.... has my account been hacked and put on a different Battle.net account? When I search for my character on be.imba it still has all the correct gear so not sure what is going on :confused:

Not sure what to do... Going to try and get in contact with the fellas at Blizz tomorrow.

Any one had any similar problems?
 
Look for the accounts page on the wow web site, accounts and billing, free phone call to them and will take them 5 mins to sort.

Or, email me in trust a char name and realm your on in the account in question and ill check tomorrow for you.

DO NOT give me any loging details of passwords ok, just a char name and its realm is all i need. If you wish of course i wont be upset if you say get lost ;)

Another to mention incase any one has any ideas.....

It is saying the answer to my secret question is wrong and when i put the CD key in, it says it is wrong....

:confused: very confusing business :p
 
What happens when you try to log into WoW with your normal account name/password? Does it say it's already attached to a battle.net account or to attach it to one? If the first it sounds like you've become compromised.

I was having trouble with this last night. Turns out that despite filling in all the information that it did not actually create the account. Lead to a tense few mins :P. Try again tonight, another point to keep in mind. Once you have merged the accounts you will have to use that log in and pass to get into wow.

Just say "account" a lot and people will ignore you.

See? Sounds proper boring.

There is no other way to get around saying account as that is what they are.... It is not my fault that blizz are introducing new accounts and my old account wont sync up with the new account with the possibility that some one has hacked said account (thank you colinuk for finding out that it isnt).

If it bores you then i would urge you to not post, save you energy to troll elsewhere :p

For the sake of your own peace of mind i'll explain it in much simpler terms for you.

You're scared to phone Blizzard to talk about a computer game over the phone in the office. I, with a hint of a joke (sorry about that, i'll note your lack of humour for the future), discussed not using words to associate the call with a computer game, and instead using the word "account" so that your office chums would be none the wiser as to your true intentions.

I hope that helps. Next time i'll use a crayon.

completely derailing the thread how are you finding working as GM in France? would you care to give us the low down?

a lot of changes at the moment. So all good. Decent bunch of lads and good job. I like helping so suits me although some players do try to 'push their luck' then moan when told no lol..

Still, over all, im glad i moved away from Leeds, the pay at Leeds was much better, but the job was eating my soul, if you know what i mean, here, its fun as everyone plays wow, and almost everyother game going too!!

Cant say much about the internal workings, but its good work, hard at 1st as everything is new, but training and help always there.

Good to help people like sbi5ar, even without a ticket :)
