Hi there!

I have a belkin F7D4402 v1 and it seems every few weeks or few days it just depends it drops all of it's settings you lose wireless it restores to default. I am sick of it now but does anybody have the same issue? or know a way around it.

Edit- just to confirm it's not just the wireless settings it loses it drops every setting restores to default and I have to reconfig it. I have now saved the config file but it's getting very anoyying now.

Thanks Phil

what do you need? Gigabit ethernet, wireless-n? most companies are better regarded than belkin to be frank and honest
:-)

netgear DGN2000 seems ok, I'm not the best to ask...see the other threads here they'll point you in the right direction! Wish I could help some more, but I've been stuck (well not changed) from standard ISP routers for years...

Been part of beta testing team for Netgear routers they are pretty dam good, latest model I've tested is DGND3700 great router with some very good features such as USB SMB Shares, DLNA, Dual Band N etc.. :)

I'd go with the DGN2000 unless you need gigabit - I had a dg834gt until the wireless died on it. Flash it with dgteam firmware and its a great box.

Try checking if there are any (sometimes Beta) updated firmwares.
I used to have a 7633 which would reset itself every day or two; updated to the final beta firmware they never bothered to release officially and it fixed every single issue I'd had with the unit.

We only ended up upgrading after that to get newer hardware.

It's worth checking the Belkin warranty cover in case it was lifetime. As you'll probably get a newer model to replace it, and the warranty process is pretty painless even if you no longer have a receipt.
