easyrider said:I benched my EVGA 8800 320 mb GTS running 650/2000 with a 6400 running at 3.6ghz and I get the same 06 score as I did with my 8800 GTX running stock with a 6300 @ 3ghz
Amazing bang for buck
Jabbs said:I did the same my gts o/c came just 100marks of the gtx but try running a game with high aa/af then you will see the gts struggle, my 640mb version did, this is why i say 3dmark really isn't a good test to see how good a card is.
I couldn't run the games at the settings i do on the gtx, peeps seem to forget the gtx has more stream processors which makes a lot of difference in games with high aa/af etc. Bf2142 for example i can run smooth as anything with 16xqaa on the gtx could only manage 8x best on the gts with the same fps.
I play 1680x 1050 and unless you want the best and play at higher res the GTS cannot beat beaten for the cash.
