Help bleeding THIS radiator

You don't bleed it.
If i were you i'd drain the system and fit a bleed valve on one of the ends and then refill it.

Even if you were a student? Where you don't own the house and will only be living in it for a sort amount of time? Sounds like a waste of valuable drinking time to me.

The fact that water expands when hot means it is better to bleed at that point.

If you do it with lower pressure (as the system has cold water in it) you're likely to introduce air to the system at the point you open the valve, surely?

To be honest it makes no difference, the radiator has trapped air in it. All the bleeding is doing is releasing this air.

The head of pressure from the tank in the loft will be forcing the air out
