Help! Bow tie

I just cannae do it

I have instructions here, I have you tube videos I have every resource known to man and I can't even get it started. How are you meant to make these two funny shapes on the end of a bit of silk resemble a bow tie?

I fail at social excellence

Anybody else in a similar situation?

I have wings!! So no collar. Im practising around my bear neck at the moment.

Ive come close to strangling myself twice.

I think I could do one with on in front of me, but can't describe it. Like I probably couldn't describe how to tie shoelaces in words.

I practiced for two days straight (not even joking) with videos off the internet, and it finally just clicked. persevere!

I did it!! I have a bow... it looks terrible but its solid and adjusts exactly like all the guides say! Its only taken a couple of hours! Result.. now to perfect for tomorrow!

Most of them come with some sort of length adjusting device. Tie it around your thigh, then undo the length adjustor and then re-attach around your neck afterwards. easy as pie.

you dont need it to look that perfect anyway if its a proper tie, the main reason to have one is so you can untie it later anyway when your eyes can't focus and your smoking the cigar even though you dont smoke normally.

Thigh idea is excellent!
