So I just tried to overclock my 7600GST, using the manual overclocking option of Coolbits 2.0 ---> Detect optimal frequencies. Well the progress bar of the stress test passes several times but every time towards the end of the test I get a BSOD of nv4_disp.sys?

WTH is this? Never happened to me before - the test either finished or did not finish, but not this FYI, I've tried this with the 84.43 as well as with the 91.33 drivers. Anyone know what gives?

Sounds like you might be getting an over heating issue ?

If thats the GS model you, it's passivley cooled, no ?

And in this heatwave were having now, its gonna be hell trying to overclock a passive cooled GS.

Just to check, I ran coolbits on 6600 last night, and under optimal detection it gave me clocks a good 25mhz lower than when I was first tweaking this card back in february.

No it's a GST = actively cooled, I even put a Coolermaster fan (Zalman VF700 clone) on the card, running at 45C idle. Well maybe the gpu temp does skyrocket during the stress test but I can't really check that can I? Either way the test should either pass or fail, not BSOD on me...
