Help building new computer

Hi I'm looking to build a new pc with a budget of £1200ish
Never built one from scratch before only upgrades.
Will be used for gaming, general use and maybe cad, also needs to be future proof for a few years. My old pc drank a cup of tea and didn't like it!!
I still have monitor, keyboard, mouse so just looking for the tower, I don't want a huge thing or too flashy, just a mid tower with a bit of class.

May have to re think my budget due to insurance pi#**g me about, offered me a acer off the shelf for £300,then a custom build for £500, then £640, now £780 still not goin to settle as my old system I paid £1000 for so going to hangon in there for the full whack fingers crossed!!
