any response would be welcome

ps..doesn't have to be this two weeks!

Don't think there are any courses for building and Overclocking PCs. It's the kinda thing you learn by just doing it!

If your strapped for cash and/or too lazy to buy a PC to build and OC, you can just do a google search and hey presto, about 17 million pages all about how to build PCs and overclock them :)

All the info can also be found here on these very forums.

Have a read through of Ultra Extreme's guide, I don't know how recently it has been updated but all the basic info you need is in there and the actual physical task of building a PC changes little from year to year.

I don't think I have heard of any courses for building PCs or at least none that would be of any use. You just need to start building them, a PC is pretty much like a Lego model now, the parts will only go in one way(without stupid amounts of force or a basic inability to follow clues) so it is pretty hard to go wrong.

//edit oh and just to add PC hardware is a lot more resilient than most people give it credit for :)

Yeah, you get people going OMGWTF STATIC!!!! for example. As long as you dont practice your moonwalk wearing your shell suit and nylon slippers prior to building your PC you'll be fine.

I built my last PC occassionally touching the radiator pipe to discharge myself only to find, weeks later, that all the radiators have a copper pipe leading to it, but they're all connected by PVC  thanks for telling me, Dad!
