Tut you Admirals. Always getting Leading Rates in when you get stuck.:p

Erm any screenshots you can post might help.

:p

Not really because it says everything is ok?

The disk is a DVD-RW would that have anything to do with it?

Nah DVD-RW should be OK.

Have you got the Verify after burn setting on? That might help you see if the image has been burned properly or not.

have you tried mounting the iso on a virtual drive within windows to see if the iso is valid and actually behaves as if were an actual dvd? :)

use either daemon tools or virtual clone drive to do this.

This is getting boring now.
You say you have got UltraISO - can you see the files inside the ISO that you want to burn?
If you're not willing to do that one simple task then I can't help.

@MarcLister - yep - the write was verfied.

@dmpoole - Sorry, the suggestion got lost in the responses al though i did try Ultra as you suggested but didn't try viewing it.. I've just done that but it displays nothing.. or it can't be opened? The file size is 3gb??

And it still doesn't show up? What kind of program is this?

If its 3Gb there is no way it can be a CD iso.

This might be a good idea. If the ISO doesn't mount/work here then it won't work when burned to a disc.

Ok I'll try that.. I'm just trying to re-create the ISO using UltraISO.. then I'll browse that. If no joy there, I'll create a virual drive as you suggest.

It's an .exe file with some boot files. It's a demo package that someone has done at work. He left instructions to create an ISO file then burn to DVD..

If you cannot view the actual files in UltraISO, when trying to do so, would that not suggest that the actual ISO is corrupt/nothing actually in it, ie useless?

Bad news - it must be corrupt.

Cheers for the help guys... I'll have another go tonight.. I'll see if i can get a virtual drive working as well.

The strange thing is that I'm creating the ISO file using magicISO or UltraISO.. The file created shows as being 3gb but nothing is in the ISO.

I'm completely lost on this.

Get the person who originally made the ISO to make and test another copy of it before you take a copy. If it's blank in a program such as UltraISO then it's most likely a corrupt .iso file.
