wanting to buy 2 x 1GB sticks to replace my 4 x GeIL Value 512MB sticks since realising that my systems actually slower with 2GB than it was with 1GB. There's a lot of info about different settings and I was wondering whether to stick with GeIL value (£129) or go with the cheaper OcUK memory at £105. The OcUK memory appears to be higher spec quoting 2.5-7-3-3 as opposed to 3.0-8-4-4 but I'm unsure whether this would make a difference on my A64 (S939) rig.

I know I want to run at 1T which is why I want to move away from 4 x 512MB. The advice I was looking for is whether the OcUK memory is ok or whether to pay a bit extra for the GeIL despite appearing to be lower spec.
