I am looking at buying a pair of Ugg boots for the Mrs for her Xmas and from searching there are lots of online retailers. Problem is they all seem to be selling them cheaper than the high street, which seems great but how can i tell if they are genuine?

Here is an example...

Yet this same pair in asos are £190. I want to make sure I get the genuine article but am wondering if these other ones are worth buying.

Anyone got any experience with these?

Yes. Most girls cant or wont walk properly in them and this results in a horrendously annoying 'slope slope' sound of them shuffling around. Oh and if the girl didnt already look horrendously chavvy, she will when wearing them. Don't do it. Please.

That would be the girls who own 'fake'/cheap boots. I have not seen a single pair of 'proper' Ugg boots go like that.

I rip it out my girlfriend when she wears these, I think hers are just imitation or just similar and she wears them in cold weather but it gets to her!

They won't be genuine at that price, get them from ASOS as they're genuine.

Also, that link shows a tall pair but the info says 12" high, which isn't the tall ones but the short ones which ASOS sells for £150.

get them a size to small, they stretch and the fury lining compresses.

there are several other companies that sell products as good as UGG they are often a tadd cheaper but not much.

The reason the cheap ones all get walked over is because they lack the heel support of the genuine brands and suffer much worse stretching and compressing due to the cheaper material which all results in them falling over at the heel.

Well fitting good condition UGG's look nice on a well dressed girl with good legs, cheap boots look awful on anyone and paticularly bad on Chavs in spangly jackets with chunky legs!

Does she want fashion or a quality Australian product? If the latter I would probably get something like a pair of EMU boots instead.
