Hi I can only boot with 1 RAM stick in slot 1.

Mobo: Z97N Gaming 5 Mini itx
CPU: 4690K

My CPU pins got bent but I fixed them, maybe this is related? Both sticks are fine when alone. When I have both fitted it wont post.

Did it work before the pins got bent? I'd go back and double check all the pins are aligned, many of them go straight to the slots.

Green stick boots in both slots
Black stick boots in slot 1 only

Stupid question but i assume you've tried dual channel with the black in its working slot right? And still nothing?

With that being the case, it makes me think itsmore a RAM issue (more than the motherboard, though it still could be).

from cpu socket to front of the case install the ram in second and fourth slots

that will be dual channel mode with 2 sticks

Update: I believe RAM slot 2 is faulty. I can only boot with slot 1 occupied. RAM is fine in other machine

Should I contact the merchant or Gigabyte?
