Help, can't login to SUSE after install???

I get the login screen but it just keeps telling me 'login failed'.

I thought I must have fat fingered the password so I re-installed SUSE11 and just used a simple password, yet again I cannot login?!

WTF!

Do I need to prefix the username? I'm trying to use administrator and the account I added at the setup screen, I checked the box that uses the same password for the admin account but neither work.

Ignore me, the admin is called root on linux... didn't know that. *genuine laughter over here*
