HELP - cant secure the heatsink firmly

The supplied Intel Retail HS is a relatively simple process to install but this doesn't appear to be the case for the 'majority' of large third party coolers using the pushpin method. The odd after market cooler will fit on smoothly but most seem to require a Herculean thumb with zero feeling (although you develop the latter after fitting).

The force required to get the corresponding diagonal pushpin secure on ‘some’ large third-party coolers can be insane. Whether this is by design or poor manufacturing isn't clear (I suspect both) - but when you have a screwdriver in one hand and a banana shaped MB in the other, on completion of fitting, something is amiss(?)..

I think it’s one of those designs that is probably well suited for a small HS requiring little, relative force to ensure its securely fit. But when the design is implemented onto a large third-party cooler, which requires a very rigid and secure fitting it then becomes a very awkward and sometimes dramatic process.
