help changed monitor now wont detect! suse10.2

hi i swapped from a iiyama vision master pro 454 to a samsung 226bw on dvi

all i get is the normal boot up then when it looks like X starts i get a blank screen.

tried running sax from command line. doesnt detect anything. just get blank screen.

any ideas how i can get it to work?

try running sax2 and making sure your at run level 3

I had the a similar problem with open suse10.2.After installing it a it just came up 'signal out of range' on my 15" lcd.Just gave up and went for Kubuntu with no problems at all.

Just manuely type in the refresh rates, that should do it I thought.

You can prob. edit the conf file, I did it though Sax2.
