im using a HIS 2900XT but if you have any preference then pick that (as i think tehy are both the same or very similar, however i havent used any 2900GT cards before) also beware that the 2900GT only has 256mb of memory opposed to the x1950pro's 512 which will be better when higher resolutions are used althougth the GPU is better on the 2900GT and the card is DX10 rather then DX9 although i doubt that really matters with games today, also is that your PC in the sig? if so the 8800GTS will beat both cards (i think) sorry for the rant

Yeh thats my PC in the sig I wish I was having the Quad core tho :D

This computer is for my lil sister wants to play Unreal 3 and maybe some other new games that are coming out, Reckon I should get the X1950 with the more memory or the 2900GT She will only have a monitor with max Resolution of '1440 x 900' So its not above 1600xXXXX

i think a better GPU is the wiser choice here as i doubt 1440 x 900 will use up all of the memory, however i will wait for a second opinion
