Help, choose parts, first time build

Loving that case. I think I'll be ok, with building and putting bits together, it the bit after when you fire it up and trouble shooting any probs and have to add drivers and windows, and overclocking that worries me more. Worries ill just end up with a pile off bits:p That's a nice build , can't believe you squeezed a t500 in there. Reckon you could squeeze 3 monitor in to:D:D

Yes parts being DOA can be a nuisance but as I said you can pop back here for guidance through "troubleshooting hell". It makes sense to download the latest drivers for the mobo and GPU etc, if you can install games you can install drivers lol Overclocking isn't difficult either, I can link a vid to a excellent guide for socket 1155 which is basically the same method.

I'm glad you liked the build. However the offers have changed today so our specs aren't really valid now and need re-tweaking.......

Included the three panels, these have thin bezels and work out much cheaper than the Dell option. OS is still left off, you can add it in yourself or use that cash instead to get the shifter for the T500 and run the trial of Windows 8.1 :)

Hope this helps, once again I look forward to seeing what you settle on. A build log would help us help you through the build and we truly would love to see some pics of your "sim bin" ;) ;)

Those monitors are nice with thin bezels, but I read they are like the asus one. The picture does not go right to the edge, so you still have a black border round the edge. With iracing on my obutto rig, the monitor will be angled upto 45 degrees down each side of me, so I really think ips panels will be best.

What you think on the on sale Titan sabre, if I upgrade gpu to 7970 and get corsair 500r case and windows 7 comes in at .£1273.
