Hi all,
Ordered myself a new PC and forgot to get myself a new sound card. I know nothing about what's good or what's not, so a little bit of help would be appreciated.
Now I use my PC for gaming, music and movies. I have Logitech Z5500's and a set of Sennheiser PC350 headphones.
What would be the best sound card around for use with these?
The headphones are my brothers. I've been using them since my Speedlink Medusa's snapped. I don't fancy paying £100+ for another set of PC350's, so are there another set for around half the price with around the same quality?
After a bit of reading I found that stereo headphones would be a better choice for quality over 5.1 headphones. I use my headphones a lot so comfort would be nice, and I'd prefer headphones with cups which sit around the ear rather than on them.
Also, since I won't be getting Speedlink Medusa's again can anyone recommend a good audio splitter so I don't have to keep switching audio jacks at the back of my computer?
Thanks for the help.
Oh and the budget is around £150 for both sound card and headset. I can stretch a bit more if the price increase is worth it.
Thanks!
