Hi all,

As the girlfriend is continually hogging the HD TV I need a decent monitor I can play my PC and Xbox on. I am currently using a 22" hyundai widescreen and the xbox image quality is crap through the MS VGA lead (guessing because of non native res?)

I am am thinking I need a 24" PVA panel with component to make the best of the xbox?

Can anyone offer any advice and suggest suitable models.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I see on the website that they have two versions of the OCUK 24" monitors - one with a TN panel and a VA panel. Apart from the viewing angle and glare, is there any difference in the panel screen quality?

You could go for the OcUK monitor, use that for gaming(if you can support the res)/xbox and keep your other monitor for the other pc? Or vice versa?

Yeah I have considered that, but have the 22" earmarked for the media center in the bedroom, currently using an old 14" tv....yuk :)

I am also just considering leaving the download box on and just RDC it.

Jon33 - cheeky I know but any chance you could screenshot your monitor playing xbox? I am really weary as my current 22" looks a bit crap with the MS VGA cable (I am hoping it is because of the 1680x1050 native monitor res)
