Hi i got my current system in sig below and think an upgrade is due soon.
All i gonna be able to afford is MB CPU & RAM and use my 2 8800gt,s in the new setup.

So any help on choosing the right stuff would be great.
Some questions i got are:
1.should the MB be full 16x in sli?
2.should i go quad core or is dual enough?
3.should i go 64x and use 4gb+ ram?

my budget should be around £300-£450 hopefully. :)

all recommended options welcome.

Thanks Joe.

sell 8800GT's
then put the money towards a 48701gb or a GTX260maxcore

if you game at a res to get the most out of sli - you would benefit from all round games support offered by a single [more powerful] gpu

[less reliant on sli support in games if you have a powerful single gpu + less power needed from psu]

the point of view maxcore 260 offers great VFM atm

buy an asus P5Q P45 chipset board and an E8500 chip
ocz ram on this week only
£40 for 4GB = bargain

vista 64 is the only way to see the best out of this setup
