Help choosing RAM

I'm trying to find the best Ram for FSX any suggestions,

what is more important low timing or mhz or both

If you are running an i7 system then I wouldn't worry too much about RAM. So long as you have 1300MHz+, triple channel then you have plenty of bandwidth. Anything better will only give you very small performance improvements (a few percent).

With FSX its all about CPU - so if it is for the system in the sig I would suggest clocking it a bit further. With a V8 cooler 3.8Ghz is easy and 4Ghz is realistic.

As above, 4ghz can be achieved fairly easily on the i7's.

cheers, yes the one in my sig,im running G skill 6gb 1600 9-9-9-24.

apparently too high for FSX .
