Hi my mate is setting up his own Ltd company he's an IT Contractor currently working under an umbrella type setup.... so what he earns is cut slightly buy the guys he's under, works great but he's wanting to go it alone as he's saved up enough to get going. he's got an accountant sorted and everything just he's stuck with a company name so I put it to you for your serious choices :-)

just a few things he's looking for anthing to do with IT Soultions maybe at the end the name or "something" Tech Ltd

His Surname is "Rushton" so i have already put to him

RushTech Ltd
RushCom Ltd
Rush I.T Solutions

any more ideas for input from you guys would be good - yea i know im opening a can or worms for P**** takers so i do expect to see the image of a open can of worms as a reply and a few funny suggestions to boot, im up for a laugh too but a good mix of both would be good.
(Also to note im expect to start working for him too in the near future as his contacts are asking for him a lot and he's over run with work so will need me and maybe a few more)
Currently he has a big contract from RIM aka Blackberry for some equipment in Paris he's already done a lot for RIM in Belgum this year and they want him to do the same stuff in paris, he also helped towards setting up the TiVo service for Virgin Media last year - so it's big business :D

Thanks in advance for the Suggestions.

Hope he doesn't work for the Government/Civil Service!
They are going to start sacking people who avoid paying full UK tax like your friend will start doing

note: I know it's not illegal, and plenty of people do it.

He's not avoiding paying tax. He's starting his own company. All he's doing effectively is leaving the umbrealla organisation he's under.

He is setting up a limited company to channel his earnings though. Hence, he'll pay him self a basic minimum wage via his Limited Company, and take the rest as dividends.

His limited company will only have to pay 20% corporation tax, hence saving him a huge amount in tax every year.

Err. No. He's not just plain dodging tax. He's starting his own business rather than working for someone else...
