Help Connecting up Smart Wifi Light Switch..

Thank you! Where was I going wrong? I’d like to post the other picture of my wireless switch as well.

I just opened the pic a new window and copied the address (which was the direct address to the actual jpeg rather than the shortened imgur address) and then clicked on the insert image button and pasted in the address/

Your wiring doesn't appear to have the permanent live and neutral that switch requires.

It's a common problem if you want to use that sort of switch in the UK.

It's expecting the power to go to the switch and then onwards to the light fitting. In the UK it's very common for the power to go to the light fitting and then only the live is looped down to the switch.

Either give up on it or be prepared to have to rewire the lighting circuit.
