So I've just finished moving my pc into the new case I got along side some new upgrades.

I go to put the front back on and the Corsair h100 doesn't fit ...

So I'm basically stuck with no dust filter/front cover on the front of the pc.

I bought the Fractal Design Torrent Compact, I am needing a cooler for the 5800x that will clear my RAM, which is Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB.

I'm a bit out of the loop so not sure what's out there and what's good and what will fit.

Can anyone help at all please?

Says it supports up to 360mm radiator with push/pull? Not sure what the size difference betweent he H100 and the LS/LT720 is but I've got an LT720 on a 5800X and it does a stellar job. The LS720 is slightly cheaper I believe with a smaller pump head cover, but other than that they're identical inside.

Had a Dark Rock Pro 4 before as well which was actually the same performance but quieter, it's just a big block and not sure that case has the clearance, will need to check just checked, the DRP4 will fit.

Was it an upgrade or just doesn't fit in the case?
My dad did an upgrade recently and his h100 also didn't fit, went from 6700k to a 7900x so has to get a new bracket but for a few quid was worth it rather than spending our on a new cooler

This is how it's looking at the moment. The 4080 is probably the reason haha, just realised I hadn't mentioned that.

Does it have to be an AIO? There's plenty of decent tower coolers that can fit in your case (RAM clearance permitting).

Going by the list provided by Tetras the RAM is 56mm high so should fit, either just using the middle fan or using both with the front fan raised to accommodate the hight of the RAM.

What's the point of getting a higher end cooler to run it in single fan config though?
With it being a high end cooler, it should be fine with one fan. I used to have a Noctua NH-D14 and only had the middle fan attached, worked almost as good a having both fans but so much quieter. If i knew i could not use the second fan because of the RGB RAM i would get a different cooler though.

Do you have a picture of how it fits at all mate?
Example pics on product page. Bit pricey though.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £132.98 (includes delivery: £7.99)

Had a bit of hassle, they're claiming this wouldn't fit either, it'd cover the ram and be too tall for the case.

I've complained and I'm now sending back the misadvised cooler and also the case as I was advised it would all be compatible. (This wasn't OCUK though.)
