Ok something is not right here basically last year
i9 7900x delidded and thermal replaced with liquid metal
360 radiator with 3x Noctua AF12 Fans
Room temp: 29c
Water temp: 40c
i9 7900x at Full Load With Aida64: Max hit 78c after 1 hour
This year about 3 months ago (build was actually fully completed 2 days ago, system first time turned ON 2 days ago)
Replaced the i9 7900x original IHS with the RockitCool copper IHS (3 months ago)
Added my GPU also RTX 2080 Ti
Plus added a 480 radiator (4x Noctua AF12 fans) to go with my 360 radiator
Room temp: 24c
Water temp: 31c
i9 7900x at Full Load with Aida64: Max hit 88c
within 15 minutes
GPU tested also Full Load after 30 minutes max temp was 42c
You see from above something is seriously wrong, yes I added my gpu but also added another radiator (480) I mean the water temp is way, way cooler now because of the added radiator so I was actually expecting the temps to come down maybe a little. Something is telling me it's the RockitCool copper IHS that I put on the cpu die obviously using liquid metal.
