I have at last come to sense and decided I have to add an SSD to my desktop, not sure whether to use one as a replacement or to supplement my HDD which will use less used stuff.

My MB is a Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 , which is powered by a OCZ ZT 650W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power.

I am not an expert PC tech-head so need some advice on choice and installation if anyone can spare the time or help with any links.

I am thinking about this https://www.overclockers.co.uk/sams...olid-state-drive-mz-75e500b-eu-hd-192-sa.html.

1) Is this a good choice
2) Will this connect easily to my Mother board / PSU
3) Do I need too order any other cables
4) And last of all I really do not want to re-install windows - is it easy to migrate this and other HDD content over.

Thanks in advance.

1. Yes, I wouldn't have any worries with that drive
2. The drive uses standard SATA data connection and SATA power connections, so it will depend on how many you are currently using (if you have 1 HDD, then data connection shouldn't be a problem, just make sure you connect to the SATA III port), however you'll need to check your power supply to see what avaialble connections are still available on it.
3. See above. If your power supply doesn't have an available SATA Power connector, then you may need a Molex to SATA power cable (such as https://www.overclockers.co.uk/bitf...4-x-sata-power-extension-black-cb-004-bx.html ). I'd expect the SSD to come with a SATA cable, maybe someone else can verify it it does come with one or not.
4. I'll defer this to someone else. I usually clean install, though I did do a drive clone once but I can't remember the procedure for it :(
