got a 5850 and have updated to latest drivers now my second screen keeps flickering when i scroll my web pages up and down on other screen.


cannot remember what original drivers were either and I have tried a few now :(
 
Sounds like the 2D clocks need to be ramped up a bit, but lets see if any else reports the same issues before blaming 'the drivers'. As a temporary solution you could try disabling power management via CCC.
 
It shouldn't do. I remember last year people where having issues with 2D clocks and flickering with 5000 series but I thought this had all be resolved. What a lot of people around here do is setup there own power profiles in MSI Afterburner, you might want to think about doing the same. It might also be an issue with an older BIOS your running on the card.
