I have a number of mkv video files on an external hard drive that play flawlessly but cannot be moved or copied to another hdd. There are also some avi files 1 GB or less doing the same thing.
I just get the message;
"Can't read from the source file or disk"
Surely they can be read as they will play fine?
Files sizes are around 1-2GB and drives are all NTFS.
Permission for the drive is down as "Everyone" with all options enabled.
Any ideas on how to move them?
