I'm trying to find a driver for the ATI Radeon 9000/9100 pro IGP.

The one I downloaded from AMD doesn't appear to be correct and google isn't helping as references are either broken or contain malware.

Update - the drivers from ATi actually fall over with cannot find INF file??

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you gone to the vendor of the laptop/motherboard website? I had a Dell D600 With a Radeon 9000 IGP in and Dell's website had the latest.

Download the Mobility Modder programme, and use it on the latest Cat 9.1s and it'll work fine.
Part of the problem is due to varied driver agreements with different laptops, ATI generally don't provide direct support for thier IGP solutions, rather it is down to the Manufacturer.

The mobility modder tweaks the infs and registry settings to allow nearly all the mobility chips to work perfectly with standard ATI catalyst downloads. Brillaint programme :)

Thanks - yopu have saved the day :) - the Omega drivers did the trick. Pretty poor realy when ATIs own drivers failed.

Reason why the INF wasnt in the main ATI drivers are in my post. It's not poor; its the agreement the manufacturers have with ATI not to directly support IGP in most cases. Blame the manufacturers not ATI. NV was exactly the same up til a few months ago.
