I am going away to France the day before Euro 2012 starts and was hoping to find out which TV channels out there were showing the England matches (just so I can depress myself on holiday).

What I have discovered is that 19 matches are on 2 free channels, those being all the knockout stages (7 games) plus the France games (3 matches) plus the opening game. Since the opening France match is against England that will be live but I can't seem to find out which of the remaining games are on free tv.

If there are any French speakers who can navigate French websites and find out I would be very grateful.

I'm in France and TF1 usually has the non-league games for free in HD. All the premier league games are on Canal sport which isn't free. I'll have a look at the TV guide next time I'm downstairs

From looking here:

You're right, France vs England is on TF1 which is a free channel.

Sweden vs England is on a channel called M6.

England vs Urkraine is on BeInSport which is not free to air.

Seems to be the only England games French TV is showing... but only had a quick skeg.

All the later stages are on TF1 or M6 (both free to air).

Thanks, this is exactly what I needed
