I have a Samsung galaxy on orange but I have no network, what do I do? I have superb wifi signal in hotel with sgs but Asus transformer is useless any suggestions? I can't even see what I'm typing. So my grammar will be crap.

You're in a hotel - surely there's a landline?! If they have wifi then surely they have a computer or two for guests (that likely have skype)?

Shoulda got an iPhone. LOL.

Seriously though, is it unlocked? Get a cheap SIM?

Obviously contacted by landline but they can't contact uskwhen out and about. Honestly thought somebody would have a proper answer. Not impressed ocuk

Did you enable international roaming before you left? If not, then you won't be able to use it. Sorry. Grab a landline, or a polish simcard and pop that in your phone it might work.

You have to setup your phone for use abroad if you are with Orange BEFORE you go.

Have you done this? Set it to detect networks automatically and it should just 'work'.

Get a local simcard/cheap throwaway mobile (used one in the US when my phone broke) with international roaming for the UK. It should be cheap given that you're in Poland. There are low cost deals in our local Polish Shop the other way, so look about in the morning.

Thanks, me not knowing about such things. Skype is a non starter for other reasons.
What about the asus transformer and its useless wifi capabilities? Any apps I could download if I find a good signal somewhere that will increase its power?

Long story short, no.

Some Android devices have an option in the wifi settings for 'best wifi performance' that can sometimes boost the signal strength, give that a try.
