HELP HELP HELP URGENT!

If you don't know what overclocking is, then you're not doing it. It is running your computer out of specification. i.e. faster than supposed to. But since you aren't , don't worry about it.

Gutted m8. I am a postgrad now, and I keep backups of all my work across 5 different hard drives.

Just explain the situation best you can, and hope for the best, don't think you can do much else really. Sorry m8. Good luck.

The thing is that all it's doing is taking various clips from the source it's not copying it directly, if I delete the source video recording it will be removed from the video. So it's just adding afew things together from each video recording. The file is only 64kb! I've had a problem before with it closing down to a crash of something stupid and it just popped back up and I carried on from where I left.

And it was going to do the same thing again but something happened and stopped it from opening all together.

The video was based on this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSbGur1dz9k

It's got a lot of cutting which is why it took so long.

I really feel for you, but having all that work on one disk is a lesson that pretty well everyone leans the hard way.

As others have said external USB disks are your friend, multiple generations of backups are the way forward.

Hope you don't get thrown out !
