HELP! How to remove snapped EZ-Out?

You would struggle to drill out a stud extractor unless you have some good carbide drills ( which are also prone to easy snapping and expensive ! )

Is it possible to get a pair of pliers on the remaining stud extractor ? If not the next easiest is a hammer and chisel and try to tap it around as if you were unscrewing it. The stud extractor should not be tight once the intial grip it broken. Shock therapy also helps, give it a good pasting with a soft mallet.

Last resort is taking it to a decent workshop who can plasma cut it out or get enough of a hold to weld a nut on.
