Help I cant Decide :(

I currently have a 6800 Ultra Oc but im getting a whole new rig. But cant decide which graphics to get

i only game at 1440 x 900 my list is -

2 x 7300gt ddr3
2 x 7600gt
1 x 1800xt 256
1 x 1900gt
1 x 1900xt 512

Is the 1900xt the best there also does anybody have or could take a guess what scores these get in 3dmark05.

EDIT - Actualy thinking about it i would like the best bang for buck .

Which maybe means either 2 x 7300gt's or 1800xt 256mb .. but if there is a significant perfomance gain with the 1900xt 512 i would get that

Steer clear of the 7300gt's whatever you do. If you have the budget for the 1900xt and play a lot of games right now then yes buy it as it'll allow for loads of AA and AF even with games to come, whereas the others wont. The best bang per buck for games out NOW is the 1800xt, fact.

depends, if your maximum gaming resolution is 1280X1024 then the X1800XT is the one for you, if you game at higher resolutions, go for the X1900XT. the X1900GT isnt really worth it as the X1800XT is faster.

EDIT:
just noticed your native resolutions 1440 x 900, the X1800XT should be fine for this.

get the fastest you can afford. you have given a list of cards in your first post, i suggest you get the x1900xt if you have the cash, if not then why post it in that list?

i posted it because i am not aware of the advatange going from 1800xt to 1900xt if it is worth the extra 80quid i might but if not then i can use that 80 on another part of the rig

both are far more than capable to max out todays games at your resolution.

so the extra money is wasted on the x1900xt, unless you either want it to last a particularly long time, or you plan on gaming at a higher res in the near future!

I just bought an X1900XT after my X1800XT died, and anybody who says there isn't a big performance difference between the two is purely and simply wrong.

I bought an X1900XT purely because it's the same price now as my X1800XT was when I bought it, and I wasn't expecting much of a performance improvement over my X1800XT at all. Boy was I surprised, especially so when I overclocked it to XT-X speeds.

At stock my X1800XT got around 9k in '05 and my X1900XT is getting around 12,368. My X1800XT did 10k in '05 OCed, but I have not tried '05 with my X1900XT OCed yet.

Yeah 12,368 with my E6300 at 3GHz and my X1900XT at stock. My PC was also a mess when I did that benchmark, I haven't run 05 again since reformatting so I plan to do it sometime tomorrow.
