Help I can't get Windows Live mail to work

I've entered the correct details on my windows tablet and all works fine but I keep getting errors on my other PC.

Unable to send or receive messages for the [email protected] account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Windows live mail on a tablet? I don't think so that went out of support a long time ago when MSN Messenger got shut down. Do you mean something else?

no it's a Windows Tablet

What you using windows live mail for it's really old.

Most providers won't work with it anyway.

I like the layout of it and it's familiar. Is there a free email program that's similar ?
