HELP: I need to find 3d Studio Max v3!!

Yes this is going to be a very weird question but how on earth do i go about getting a very old version of 3d Studio...its not for sale anywhere i can find.

There is a plugin created for Janes Fleet commander that allows editing of ships and bits that only works with this archaic version.

Any help appreciated! :confused:

whats the plugin. Have you tried g-max the game orientated free cut down '3ds max' program.

Also some of the plugins may still work with v4 and maybe v5 so might be worth a shot trying that.

Hmm, oldversion.com doesn't have anything, though saying that I think it only holds old freeware/shareware software.

Have you tried emailing the company inquestion? They might bung an old version to you free of charge?

Ask among your friends (if they're into graphics etc.) if they have an old copy lying around?

If not, then do as above - email them
