Hi,

Ive just built my first PC and all was working well.
i installed windows on to the M4 SSD, no issues.

Ive just bought a second SSD and an HDD.

The two drives are:
Samsung 128GB SSD 830 Series

Western Digital Caviar Green 3TB
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-376-WD

All i want is to use these drives as additional storage.
They are both connected to the motherboard using the SATA 6 ports.

When i started windows the drivers were automatically installed without issues. The drives appear in the Device Manager but not when i click on My Computer?

In Device manager it says my drivers are up to date...

In the BIOS screen, i go to the SATA config page:
Mode selection is AHCI
The screen shows the M4 and the WD drive but not the Samsung.

Obviously im doing something wrong, when ive installed drives in the past it was pretty much plug in and go...
Im a novice at this and have no idea what else i can do.

Anyone got any ideas so i can finally put the lid on the case!

Sorry - Specs are

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge)
Asus Z77 Maximus V Gene Intel Z77
Corsair Memory Vengeance Racing Red 16GB DDR3 1866 MHz Dual Channel
Crucial RealSSD M4 128GB
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-Bit
NZXT Hale Power 90+ 650W

click start, right click my computer/manage/storage/disk management, right click the drives and make active, they should then show up in windows

LEGENDS! Cheers.

NOw i have an issue with the 3TB drive, its showing as two unallocated sections, 2048.00GB and 746.52GB.

Can i not have a single 3TB drive?

(My motherboard came with Disc Unlocker if that helps, typically, no instructions.)
