Hey all, long time lurker.
Just a few questions regarding my new purchase.
This will all go in an Antec P180 with a Hiper 580 modular PSU, the one from generic pc shop full of clueless people if that helps. I remember barely squeezing the power cable past my xt1900xtx because of the bottom placement of the PSU. Is this a known issue with my setup? Stab in the dark.
Ill also be looking at getting better CPU cooling in the near future but my other question is how much is a safe overclock bearing in mind my listed components on the stock fan?
Final question, I have an Audigy 2 ZS PCI card that I'm not sure whether to keep, upgrade to X-Fi or use the onboard. I know its generally best to use a seperate slot but I went over budget already and I just want the best immediate quality available and am hoping the other bits will keep everything nice and speedy.
Final final question. PC will be running the adobe range of apps and hardcore racing sims like GTR2, r-Factor et all, is jumping onboard with Vista a good idea? Im perfectly happy with XP Pro but I suppose a change would be nice. I hear a few horror stories regarding drivers etc and want to make sure my G25 runs fine.
