HELP...Lappy BLue Screen. Need for Work. HELP. Registry File Failure..Plz HELP...

hey all. Booted up my lappy this morning to get thie wonderfull msg.
Stop: c000218 registry file failure
the registry cannont load the hive (file)
\systemroot\system32\config\software
or its log or alternate is corupt, absent, or not writable...

Any ideas? will i nee to repair using my windows disK? if so how?
Realy need help as i have about 20hrs of work i have done in the past 2 days on thier. Please Help guys/gals
