HELP - Lost Data

Can anyone help with this, if so, I'll be eternally grateful!

I've just finished a load of work and only had it on one drive (due to be backed up tonight)...

I turned the PC back on, and the drive wasn't showing in My Computer, but in disk manager it's now showing as unallocated space.... any ideas??

I don't haven't tried to reinitialise it or anything in fear of truly screwing it...

Any ideas???

Also don't write or do anything with the disk until you have recovered what you need.

I would connect it to another PC as a slave drive so to speak and then run Get Data Back. This is your best bet.

Also whilst connected as a 2nd disk run some freeware called Find and Mount

Found this shortly after posting, running it now.... gawd, it's taking a while!

Will move onto the other suggestions if this doesn't work.
