I have a WinRAR password protected zip file I need to open / unzip.
Even though I lost the password, it will unzip a few files but wont let me unzip the bulk I need.
It holds my project info I need for work,
I must get the files back!

What are my options??

Don't expect it to be quick though if you've used a long/complicated password. A common single word password should be fairly easy to guess using a dictionary.

Cheers for that

Although for some reason it doesn’t see my file so it can’t open it and do its thing??

Any other Suggestions ??

How long was the password? More than 6 undercase letters or if there are combinations of numbers and special symbols and it will take forever with brute force, as you can imagine there are a lot of combinations.

1) 70
2) 4,970
3) 348,040
4) 24,363,080
5) 1,705,416,160

Newsgroups where better than forums back then, they WHERE the forums back then.
