also on windows when i use to reply to you guys on here i use to type and press alt with s to send what is it on the mac?

try pressing at the same time

ctrl, alt, apple and 8 .... you might have flipped the colors... if that makes it go weirder press the same combination in again.

You no English speak? :p

Option is where Alt usually is. Command is the key where you'd normally find a Windows key.

EDIT: Command is labelled with ⌘

Look I do speak english.

What i am saying is the colour set at million and Thousand is not useable at all. It like the graphic card not working correctly or somthing like that. It like only display 4 colours. You know like if you have windows set at 16 colour it horrible that is what i am getting now. Ever since I dont the apple update it all gone **** up

have you done a apple software update without a problem?

All was great till i did a apple update So you advise me to do a system restore with the cd it comes with?

Sure, I've run the software updater thousands of times.

No, I only asked if it would boot off the CD. If it will boot off the CD and everything looks OK we can rule out the theory of a hardware failure.

Press and hold C when you reboot to boot off of a CD or DVD.

EDIT And I still think a photograph of the problem would be helpful.

also try connecting to an external monitor....

failing that maybe try reinstalling OSX

Am on my windows laptop now as am reinstalling the OSX.

I could not take a photo sorry as my digi cam at my mates.

Hope the reinstall does the trick.. Cant understand how the updater bugger the colour up.

Strange thing is when i boots up the screen is normal then it just flick to the bad colour right after. I am suprise no one had this on theirs.

Brand spanking now mac book out of the book all set up great and played with it for a few mins and was well please it just after the update it did about 8 updates and that when it all went wrong....
