HELP - Managed to lose my mouse!!

I had this issue with my CM Sentinel and I FIXED IT...
Apparently from what I found myself, the guy on their CS team didn't even know, was that the firmware update only works on WinXP!
Luckily when I "bricked" mine, I had an old laptop with XP knocking around. Ran the firmware update again and it breathed again. Let me know if you get it fixed.

Extremely useful - thank you!!

The 'old' Roccat Kone is working now ( Why not yesterday ???). and I've decided to go back to that - the latest driver solved the problems I had been having with it :) ( silver lining eh ?)

Will see what I can do with the Coolermaster and will let you know what happens.

My thanks :D

P.S. I will not be looking to update ANY firmware in the near future

Make the keyboard emulate mouse. Go to Start > Control Panel > Ease of Access to activate it. If this does not work then you need to do a windows reinstall as it would seem anything to do with "pointer control" is broken.

surely a windows re-install here is overkill. A registry edit might do the trick, if you can find the registry keys for pointing devices and scrub them all. Reboot, then it should put the windows default key values in surely ?

All else failing feed mouse some cheese to make it happy again ?
