Pretty general post, mainly after people's advice and experiences.
The wife wants a van for all her work junk, but we also want something that can carry mountain bikes around in happily, and also ideally a minimum of 3 seats, so that excludes some of the smaller stuff.
We've just been to see a Peugeot Expert 1.6HDI this morning, seemed very nice all things considered, around the £3k mark which is (a lot) more than we normally pay for vehicles, but such is vans it seems.
Another possible contender seems to be the Vauxhall Vivaro, haven't had chance to have a viewing of one yet.
Anyone got any experiences of them? Good points? Bad points? Anything in particular to steer well clear of or look out for?
Any particular engine niggles or worries or serious issues to look out for? The one this morning started fine, no smoke, ran smooth with no knocks or rattles or anything unexpected, beyond that I'm no expert!
